Two Unknowns

Above are two unknowns. Both photos were taken April 13 on the Peavine Trail. The one with the very tiny white flowers looks something like Narrow-Leaved Popcorn Flower, but I remain unconvinced. The other one mystifies me completely. BTW, the book I use is A Field Guide to the Plants of Arizona, by Anne Orth Epple, and published by Falcon.

Let's Share

Hello fellow Prescottonians -
This is my first effort at writing a blog. I have been taking photos of flowers in the Prescott Granite Dells/Watson Woods area for about a year, but I find it tough going, at times, to make identifications. It occurred to me that there must be other locals who are interested in photographing and identifying what grows around here! I have no idea how often I'll be able to post, but I would like to do it often. I'll start off with a photo of what I believe to be a Ipomoea hederacea that I photographed on the Peavine trail late last summer. I'd like to see what other folks are photographing, too. Let's share!
